AUTHORS: THE WHOLE GGTIMES TEAM
The GGTimes, the CGGS official newspaper, is the hub of information about our senior school. Established in early 2021, the GGTimes has flourished with over thirty people on the team. The newspaper meets in the library every Tuesday lunch. Aiming to inform the student body about current affairs and encouraging a spirit of democracy within the school, the GGTimes publishes articles on various topics and issues concerning the school community.
The newspaper team is made up of members from all year groups. “It’s fun to write things for a paper,” says Darcy, Year 7. Darcy has been a member of the GGTimes since the beginning of 2022, and likes travel-writing. “[We] write about different topics that pique the interests of our school,” Sharon, Year 10. Sharon’s interests lie in entertainment and current affairs articles.
